Xiaomi VP Hugo Barra to Quit Company in February, moving back to Silicon Valley

Hugo Barra cites Home sickness and health issue as a reason for leaving the Brand
Hugo Barra joined Xiaomi from Google and He worked for 3.5years with Xiaomi as there Global VP, Hugo Barra will work with Xiaomi till February 2017, and plans to take some time off before heading back to Silicon Valley
For Xiaomi, under Hugo Barra, India was the strongest market, Xiaomi India recently disclosed that that have made over $1 billion in sale
Earlier, Xiaomi was selling it’s products only in Greater China but when Barra joined as Global VP, the company expanded across Asian market and Other regions
Before joining Xiaomi, Barra was Google’s Vice President of product management for Android


That’s what Barra said in his facebook Post


He will conclude his Xiaomi tenure after the Chinese New Year next Month next month and will return to Silicon Valley  – where he served as Google’s Vice President of Android Product
In his time at Xiaomi, Barra did a lot to raise the Company’s Profile , Barra will be Succeeded by Xiang Wong, who’s already the senior Vice President at Xiaomi
In his Facebook Post He called his time at Xiaomi as the greatest and most challenging adventure of his life
