Nokia ,the name no one ever forgot, a brand that launched its first phone even before 2000, has came back to India under HMD GLOBAL. Nokia launched the 3310 in May 2017 and now launched the Nokia 6 , Nokia 5 and Nokia 3.
Nokia 6 (Specs and Price)
The Nokia 6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Processor and comes with 3 Gigabytes RAM. The Smartphone packs 32 GB storage variant’s which is expandable up to 128 gigabytes through a hybrid slot.
The Nokia 6 runs on a skin over Android Nougat, which is just the icon pack(otherwise it’s pure Android) , the Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5 inch, FHD IPS Display (1920*1080 pixel), 16:9 Aspect ratio and with 403ppi density and 450nits brightness.
The Nokia 6 also sports dual speaker setup with a dolby atmos support amplifier. The phone bears a 16 megapixel rear camera sensor along with PDAF, 1.0um, f/2, dual tone flash, and an 8 megapixel front camera sensor with AF, 1.12um, f/2, FOV 84 degrees.
The phone comes with all basic sensors : Accelerometer (G-sensor), ambient light sensor, e-compass, Hall sensor, fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, NFC (sharing)
All this is backed by a 3000 mAh battery, In the box you get the Smartphone , Charger, Data cable, Headset, quick start guide and a Sim ejector pin. The Nokia 6 is priced at INR 14,999 as expected , and comes in matte black, silver, tempered blue and copper.
Nokia 5 (Specs and Price)
The Nokia 5 is way too similar to the Nokia 6, as both the phones comes with Same processor, camera.
The major difference is the screen size that is – the Nokia 5 comes with a 5.2 inch FHD IPS display along with 2 gigabytes of RAM and 16 gigabytes of internal storage which is expandable up to 128 gigabytes through a hybrid slot.
The Nokia 5 comes with a long lasting 3,000mAh battery which lasts a day easily. The phone again runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with a slight different icon pack.
The phone comes with all the required sensors – Accelerometer (G-sensor), ambient light sensor, e-compass, front facing fingerprint sensor, Hall sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, NFC (sharing).
The Nokia 5 is available in four distinct colours – Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper – and will be available for INR 12,899/-.
Nokia 3 (Specs and Price)
The Smartphone runs on MTK 6737, quad-core processor clocked at 1.3Ghz along with 2 gigabytes of RAM and 16 gigabytes of internal storage, that is expandable up to 128 gigabytes through a hybrid slot.
The Nokia 3 comes with (1280*720 pixels) HD IPS display with 450 nits brightness that is easily visible under Sunlight. The Nokia 3 has an 8 megapixel rear camera and the exact same camera sensor on the front.
The phone comes with all the basic requires sensors – Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, NFC, proximity sensor but they missed out the fingerprint sensor which is available in most of the devices in it’s price range. The Nokia 3 has a great standby over a 2630 mAh battery.
The Nokia 3 is available in four distinct colours – Matte Black, Silver White, Tempered Blue and Copper White and will be available for Rs. 9,499/-.
The Nokia 6 will be exclusively available on Amazon from mid July
The Nokia 5 will be an offline exclusive product and will be available at Nokia care stores and retail stores, prepaid booking will start in the 2nd week of July.
