HTC has switched from all metal design to liquid design, curved glass construction that essentially makes use of both glass and metal.
Both the devices are capable of HTC Sense Companion. An AI based system that enhances user experience from the first day itself. With this, the U ultra starts recognizing your way of talking from the first day itself and it also comes with Sound Recognition unlock system too.
The phone’s will be available from 6th March 2017 with a preview offer of 7.5% cashback on the MOP value of both the phones using Standard Chartered debit or credit card.

Moving on to HTC U Ultra
The phone has been launched to compete straightaway with Google Pixel.
The U Ultra comes with dual display, HTC sense companion (AI), U sonic(for better in ear sound quality) and the Voice Recognition
The Phone comes with a 16MP front camera sensor and a 12MP rear camera Sensor with F/1.8 aperture.
The phone is backed 64GB internal storage which is expandable with a dual sim hybrid slot
It is available in 3 color options including brilliant black, Cosmetic pink, Sapphire blue
We also addressed the dual display on the front for a fast and convenient access to various apps, similar to notification bar like you can switch bw songs from the secondary display without even moving to music app
It also bags 4 omnidirectional mics capable positional sound and recording 360 degree immersive audio which makes the user to feel better surround and better sound quality
The device bears 5.7inch QHD(2560*1440) display with dual display and Gorilla Glass 5 and the 2nd display is a 2inch display(160*1040). It runs of the latest Android version (7.0 NOUGAT)
The HTC U Ultra is powered by one of the fastest processor until now, Snapdragon 821, 64bit, quad-core clocked at 2.15ghz backed by 4GB of RAM. The U Ultra comes with 64gb internal storage which is expandable up-to 2TB through a hybrid slot.
The Phone is backed by a normal li-ion 3,000mAh battery with quick charge 3.0 and some good power saving modes
It also comes with few emotional features like Motion Launch, Quick ring on pickup, Pocket mode, Flip to mute etc.

HTC came up with both the phones on the same day.
HTC U Play offers a fine display of 5.2 inch with gorilla glass, running on Android with HTC Sense companion
The phone has a good built quality with a mirror like finish on the back which is quite slippery and the bad part of the phone is it’s processor- MTK Helio-P10 , processor which is available in a Lenovo phone costing 11k(lenovo k5 note).
Other then the processor every think is great, camera clicks amazing shots, good sound quality and much more
The HTC U Play offers 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM which is expandable up-to 2TB , the phone offers 16MP rear camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 16MP front camera sensor capturing fine shots.
On the other hand the HTC U Play comes with a small 2,500mAh battery and a USB type C port For chaging ,with a normal charge of 5V / 2A.
It supports both Volte and Vilte(video over LTE) and comes with a few emotional sensors like magnetic sensor and Sensor hub for activity tracking, and ambient light sensor.
Both the phone are good but the U Play could have been even better if it came with a better processor and bigger battery.
