The ZenFone 3 MAX includes full metal frame with smooth finish on the back. The way in which camera sensor, dual tone led flash, laser auto focus makes it look extremely rich

Overall built quality is nice. It also has core on the edges and 2.5d curved glass on the front that makes it look better and offers better grip.
Display
It comes with a 5.5inch full HD IPS display with 1920*1080 pixels resolution with 450 nits brightness with 2.5d glass on the front. The display is bright enough that can be readable even in bright sun light and also has great viewing angles

Camera
The Zenfone 3 MAX offers a 16 megapixel rear camera sensor that captures really decent shots  , specially the macro ones and it also supports fhd 1080P video recording

It also bears a nice 8 Mega pixel camera sensor on the front. The camera app comes with 12 camera modes called as pixel master modes, modes like – auto, manual, her, beautify, super resolution, low light, qr code, night, effect, selfie, panorama and time lapse, the best part of camera is the manual which has all the basic options needed for pro photography.
Performance and Hardware
The phone comes with Snapdragon 430 which is an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.4ghz which was quite disappointing for us also as we expected a Sd650 or 652 but still the experience was nice with SD430 ,I played asphalt extreme, modern Combat 5, fifa 16 and need for speed most wanted but it didn’t heated even after continuous play of an hour. The Smartphone also comes with 3gb ram and 32gb internal storage which is expandable up-to 128GB it also comes with USB OTG support to store even more.
Software
The Zenfone 3 max runs on ZenUI 3.0 which is based on Android marshmallow. The user interface is nice offers good customisation with the help of theme app where you can select icon pack, wallpaper, notification bar, text style and much more

i also found that more then half of the RAM was always free 1.75-1.85 to be exact but it was quite buggy too and it consumed 6-8% battery overnight and that’s not a good part of it.
It also comes with some useful inbuilt apps like AudioWizard, Kindle etc
Battery
It comes with a 4,100mAh battery which can last up-to 48hours but the ZenUI depreciates the quality at some extinct as it looses 6-8% battery overnight, which is not at all a good thing

And it also comes with reverse charging capability which is also called power bank mode, means it is capable to change another Smartphone from it’s own battery.
Finger-Print scanner
One of the best part of the Zenfone 3 max is it’s fingerprint scanner.

It’s slightly different from others, in the way that you just need to touch the finger print very lightly, if you press it or try to scan the whole print, it won’t work properly
You just need to touch the finger print scanner and it will unlock

Availability and Price
The Zenfone 3 MAX is available for 16,999INR on Flipkart and is accessible in gold, grey and silver(the one we got).
All the color are good but I personally like the grey one.
Though the smartphone is nice and is a steal deal but dont forget that ZenFone 3S MAX has just been launched as an upgrade to ZenFone 3 max.
